Shaking
System: Korvan offers two different shaking systems on
the Korvan 2000. The selective vertical shake rotary head is angled
for an optimum pick in DOV trellis systems and thoroughly removes
raisins in one pass. The Orbirotor, a more aggressive orbital shake
head, is also available. Shaker speed is clearly displayed in a
precise digital readout. The picking head flips over to allow
picking on either side of the harvester.
Catching & Conveyance:
Extended polycarbonate catching plates with a unique teardrop design
offer improved fruit collection. Seven feet of drape belt under the
picking head allows high picking speeds, gentle raisin handling,
cane alignment and low catcher placement. The belts help prevent
fruit loss and are easy to clean and maintain. The
Over-the-Row-Conveyor (OTRC) swings both ways for efficient
unloading on either side of the harvester.
Dual Cleaners: Cane
chopper (flail design) works in conjunction with the bottom blower
fan to prevent cane buildup. The top fan finishes the debris removal
from the raisins.
Driver’s Platform: The
Korvan 2000 gives the driver excellent visibility of the picking
area, conveyors, trellis, row and field by positioning the driver
platform above and behind the picking head.
Quality Design: A
reliable, quiet and economical Perkins engine powers the Korvan
2000. Korvan has a smooth hydrostatic transmission with infinitely
variable speeds, and the servo displacement controls minimize ground
speed drift. The three-wheel design provides superior traction and a
tight turning radius, and the Korvan 2000 was built to be easy to
service and maintain.
